Dr Rajendra Pachauri, Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and last year's Nobel Peace Prize winner is to address the International Transport Forum on "The Challenge of Climate Change" to be held in Leipzig, Germany from 28-30 May 2008, announced Jack Short, Secretary-General of the International Transport Forum on Tuesday in Paris. "The work of the IPCC provides the scientific basis for linking human activities to global warming and is key for future policy making, including in the field of transportation," explained Short.
