    - iMOVE Informs About Professional Qualification With German Partners in

Shenyang From June 12th to 21st, 2009


    Vocational education and training from Germany and its possible impact on

sustainable urbanisation in China will be presented in Shenyang. In close

cooperation with the Ministry of Work of Liaoning and the Department of

Education of Shenyang, iMOVE and the German Association for Technical

Cooperation (GTZ) organise a conference on vocational training, followed by a

matchmaking session on June 12th. German training providers will present

their services and cooperation offers. The conference is part of a series of

events entitled "Germany and China - Moving Ahead Together". From June 12th

to 21st, 2009, iMOVE will also be present at an information booth "Training -

Made in Germany" at the Deutschland-Promenade in the German Federal Ministry

of Education and Research (BMBF) pavilion, where information pertaining to

Germany's capabilities in vocational training will be available. The event

will take place under the auspices of the Chinese president Hu Jintao and the

German president Horst Köhler.


    The conference aims at fruitful relations by strengthening bilateral

cooperation through partnerships and business relations between educational

institutions, training providers and enterprises. "Training - Made in

Germany" stands for the internationally recognised quality of the German

vocational training system. It is based on long experience and characterised

by practice-orientation and a strong responsiveness to the demands of the



    iMOVE (International Marketing of Vocational Education) is an initiative

of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. iMOVE promotes

international cooperation and supports the initiation of collaborations and

business relationships in vocational training and continuing education.
