Oil flows for Innamincka Petroleum
Innamincka Petroleum Ltd (INP), on behalf of the PEL 103 Joint Venture, today announced oil
production commenced from the Flax field on Friday 1 August 2008.
The first well, Flax 1, flowed oil at the forecast initial rate of approximately 350 barrels of oil per
day.
Additional Flax wells will be brought online over the next few weeks as the surface construction
and well development activities proceed.
The first load out of crude oil from the Flax field is scheduled for mid week.
Innamincka Petroleum Chairman, Mr Adam Johnson said: Both companies would like to take this
opportunity to thank all involved contractors and PIRSA for their support and assistance in the
achievement of this milestone.

Innamincka Petroleum Ltd is involved in the exploration and development in the Cooper Basin. It
holds an interest in exploration permits which encompass approximately 4400 square kilometres.
The Cooper Basin is one of Australias richest proven oil and gas fields containing over 70 oil and
150 gas fields with over 300 producing oil wells and over 600 producing gas wells.
Since listing, Innamincka has discovered two oilfields and three gas fields and has been voted Best
Australian Explorer 2007.
