Ecosse Energy To Expand Drilling Program - Company Increases Drilling Program to Five Onshore Wells


CALGARY, Alberta, Canada, Feb. 1 /CNW-AsiaNet/ - -


     Ecosse Energy Corp. (CNSX: ECS) a company focused on oil exploration and production in Indonesia, today

announced it is increasing its 2010 drilling program to 5 on-shore wells from the original planned 3 wells on its

Bengkulu PSC in South Sumatra Indonesia.

     The Company also announced that it is conducting pre-tender evaluation of

drilling contractors for the on-shore drilling program.

     "Ongoing Geological and Geophysical work by the Company in Canada and

Indonesia has confirmed two new onshore prospects that will increase our

drilling program from three to five onshore wells for 2010," said Alan

Morrison, President and CEO of Ecosse Energy Corp. "We are curently also

evaluating our associated offshore acreage to firm up our drilling prospects

for a future offshore driling campaign. Both onshore and offshore resources

are being independently evaluated and updated 51-101 reports will be filed

shortly."

PSC covers 4,101.92.94 km2 (1,013,602 acres) and consists of both onshore and

offshore portions. EEB is currently planning to drill 5 onshore exploration

wells in the Bengkulu PSC in 2010.
