Celebrate National Water Week

Play 'Mission H2O' and win a trip to Sea world!

It's National Water Week (October 18-24) and students can go in the draw to win a family trip to Sea World on the Gold Coast, by playing an online game about saving water - 'Mission H2O'.

With the theme for National Water Week 2009 'Securing Our Water Future,' students from across Australia are able to learn about saving water at home, in this globally renowned computer game.

A National Television ad campaign sponsored by Methven Australia and Australian water corporations is currently being shown on national television to build awareness of water conservation during National Water Week. The ad features TV personality, David Whitehill with Mission H2O character 'Chelsea Wilson'.

"Mission H2O is a great way for kids, both young and old to be involved in water conservation during school and at home while having fun at the same time", said Nigel Finney, CEO of the savewater! Alliance.

"We encourage schools to make the most of this valuable education resource by playing the game as part of their curriculum," said Mr Finney.

Mission H2O is internationally acclaimed, having received four international awards; including an 'Outstanding website' recognition from the international Web Marketing Association; and is currently a finalist in the Australian Marketing Institute's awards for excellence.

Mission H2O can be played online at www.missionh2o.com.au, with high scorers going in the draw for a trip to Sea World.

The Gold Coast prize has been kindly donated by Vibe Hotels and Sea World to encourage students around Australia to get involved in water conservation.
