Green Designs on Sustainability

We have all heard about Grand Designs but how many have heard about

Green Designs on Sustainability?

As a once only opportunity we are bringing together Sustainability award

winning architect, John Maitland and leading Permaculture Practitioner

Steve Poole to talk about their “ Green Designs on Sustainability” on

Saturday 22 November, 2008 at 1pm at the Aldinga Arts EcoVillage.

Organiser Lou de Leeuw said “This is a rare opportunity to hear these two

leading practitioners in Sustainabilty talk at the project they started on it’s

sustainable path and experience it in one of the leading sustainable home

designs at the Aldinga Arts EcoVillage”.

“Make a day of it! Visit the Willunga Organic Farmers Market early to get

your weekly supply of fresh produce; Drop in to beautiful Port Willunga

Beach for a swim or a walk; Visit a local winery for brunch, lunch or

afternoon tastings; Stay for dinner at the famous Star of Greece Cafe or

Russell’s Pizzeria; All in time to catch the Southern Expressway both

ways...  and this shows Sustainability is not hard work , just careful planning

and it can be fun” Lou de Leeuw said.

Booking must be made as the seats are limited . Contact Nathan Godfrey on
