Ingersoll Rand's Asia Pacific President Makes Business Case That Bottom Line Success
Can Be Achieved By Promoting Energy Efficiency

Rising energy costs and increased public awareness of going green and energy
efficiency means businesses are looking for ways to reduce energy consumption in

Approach to Growth," Yuen will share innovative and realistic methods for businesses
to reduce operating costs by creating high performance and energy efficient
buildings. His presentation includes:

About Francis Yuen
Francis Yuen is the president of Asia Pacific in Ingersoll Rand Climate
Solutions. As a business leader, he is responsible for the operations and
profitability of Climate Solutions business in the Asia Pacific region under which
Trane, Hussmann and Thermo King businesses are operated. Before the forming of
Climate Solutions, Yuen was the president of Trane Asia.
Prior to Ingersoll Rand, from 2000 to 2003, Yuen was president of Honeywell
Aerospace Asia Pacific and Honeywell International based in Singapore. In this
capacity, he was instrumental in leading Honeywell's business initiatives in the
region and worked with the leaders of Honeywell's global strategic business units to
drive growth and expansion across the Asia Pacific region.
Yuen holds a bachelor's degree (First-Class Honors) in business administration
from the University of Singapore, an MBA from the National University of Singapore
and completed an Advanced Management Program from the Wharton School at the
University of Pennsylvania, USA. He has won several awards including the Mobil Gold
Medal, SGV Gold Medal and International Chamber of Commerce Prize for academic
achievements in University and a Commendation Gold Medal for outstanding services in
the Air Force. He is also a recipient of the Magnolia Award (2008) for his
contributions to the development of Shanghai.
