Chisholm students to participate in global event

Dandenong Plaza Shopping Centre – Pedestrian Area, McCrae Street,
Dandenong
Chisholm Visual Art and Design students from the Dandenong campus will be embracing
sustainability and participating in a global event with 350.org in Dandenong.
Students are going to make a large chalk drawing of 350.org in the centre area of Dandenong Plaza,
pedestrian area and put up posters and stickers on 350 lamp posts nearby explaining the project.
Approximately 50 students will be involved.
The event will be photographed and emailed to 350.org. Images from all global actions will be
screened in Times Square, New York.
Background:
350.org is an international climate change campaign calling for a fair Copenhagen climate treaty that
meets the latest science. 350ppm represents the safe upper limit of CO2 in our atmosphere. Take
part in your community on 24 October, 2009: An International Day of Climate Action.
