RSPCA SHARES THE LOVE THIS WEEKEND
This weekend, 13-14 February, all RSPCA NSW Shelters are sharing the love with a Valentine's Day theme. Staff have been busy decorating the shelters, and would love to see everyone there.
If you're in a position to adopt an animal, then help the RSPCA kick start their Pawfect Match Adoptathon. The RSPCA and Hillfs Pet Nutrition aim to find loving homes for 50,000 cats and dogs in 2010, starting this weekend. All animals available for adoption from the RSPCA are desexed, wormed, microchipped, health-checked, vaccinated and behaviourally assessed.
"All our animals are looking for good homes, however we can't stress enough the importance of adopting an animal for life," said RSPCA NSW CEO Steve Coleman. "This isn't an impulse decision, but one that's well thought out by all members of the family.
"Please come along and support the RSPCA on 13 and 14 February. If you've never been to a shelter before, then this is a great opportunity."
