MEDIA RELEASE
Hospitality Industry Supports Animals in Need!
For three days in March, RSPCA NSW is appealing to the generosity of
people in the hospitality industry to get behind Tips for Tails-- a unique
fundraising initiative that will allow staff in the industry to help some well
deserving dogs and cats.
On selected days, from Friday March 27 to Sunday March 29, hospitality staff
(in pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants and bars) across NSW will be encouraged
to donate a portion of their hard earned tips to the RSPCA.
As a hospitality worker, we encourage you to get behind Tips for Tails and
enrol your workplace in the event, said RSPCA NSW CEO Steve Coleman.
Were not asking you to give away all of your tips, were happy with any
amount you would like to donate.
From today, 17 February, managers can register online at
All the registered venues will then be listed on the website and they will be
able to promote the event and their involvement with the marketing material
we provide, said Coleman.
Animal lovers are also encouraged to support Tips for Tails by visiting and
spending up big at their favourite restaurant, café or pub.
You can order what you like, stay as long as you like, but please just
remember to leave a tip! said Coleman.
