FIND YOUR PAWFECT MATCH THIS VALENTINE’S DAY

The RSPCA with support from Hill’s Pet Nutrition are looking to find loving homes for

more than 50,000 cats and dogs this year, kicking off with an adopt-a-thon on

Valentine’s Day weekend, February 13 -14.

The Pawfect Match is encouraging everyone considering a new pet to visit their local

RSPCA Adoption Centre to meet the many wonderful animals looking for love.

The big post-Christmas influx of cats and dogs has meant that many beautiful animals

desperately need loving homes.

The RSPCA’s Sale Shelter Supervisor Simone Hasler, says introducing the Pawfect Match

campaign during the month of love is a timely reminder to people that they need to

approach adopting a pet as seriously as considering a potential partner.

“Just like people, animals have varying needs and personalities so it’s important to

make sure that the pet you bring into your life will fit in with the lifestyle you lead,”

says Ms Hasler.

Are you suited to an energetic dog?  Do you need a cat that will enjoy the company of

young children?  Are you looking for a dog to be your loyal companion?

take a short quiz and find

out the pawfect pet for their lifestyle, blue, green or orange. They can then scroll

through profiles of RSPCA animals looking for loving new homes that match their colour.

Supporting the campaign is Hill’s Pet Nutrition, which generously donates pet food to

feed every cat and dog awaiting adoption at the RSPCA.  To find out more about the
