A ‘TAIL’ OF CHRISTMAS SPIRIT FOR SYDNEY’S DOGS AND CATS HOME

On 21 November, happy pets from all parts of Sydney will have the chance to meet Santa,

have their portrait taken and at the same time, help Sydney’s Dogs and Cat’s Home to help

homeless pets find homes this Christmas.

Honeydew Photography has partnered with the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home to help raise

awareness and funds that will help find loving homes throughout Sydney for unloved and

unwanted pets.

For one day only, Honeydew Photography (a family portrait studio offering specialised,

unique and creative photography) is offering pet lovers the opportunity to have their pet’s

portrait taken with Santa in the comfort of a centrally located studio, with a percentage of the

fee being donated direct to Sydney Dogs and Cats Home.

Eleanor Godley of Honeydew Photography said, “For a lot of people, pets are an important

member of the family. While traditionally, Santa photographs offer treasured memories of a

magical childhood, we wanted to offer something unique and fresh to all those families who

love their pets and at the same time, contribute something meaningful to the thousands of

pets who need a family.”

The Sydney Dogs and Cats Home have been operational for almost 10 years saving the

lives of thousands of pets and offering an exceptional re-homing rate for dogs at 90-95% and

65% for cats.

Christine Baramilis General Manager of Sydney Dogs and Cats Home said, “We are

extremely grateful to have the support of Honeydew Photography because we rely heavily

on the generosity of businesses as well as community support to help us save lost and

abandoned animals by finding them loving homes.”

“In addition to raising funds, one aim is to create awareness of the Sydney Dogs and Cats

Home as a unique organisation that contributes to bringing unity, joy and love into the homes

OF thousands of families and communities around Sydney. With the support of Honeydew

Photography, we are closer to achieving this aim,” Christine Baramilis said.

For something different this Christmas,

pet lovers can capture unique memories for a

minimum spend of just $50 while at the same time helping many cats and dogs who aren’t

as fortunate. Appointments essential. Contact Honeydew Photography on
